Ira Silver

Leading Role

Personality Type: ISFP

Age: mid 30’s

Ethnicity: Jewish-American

Position: Manager of Rogue Records

Background:  Ira had always been into music from a young age and was raised on the music surrounding the Vietnam War.  By the early 70’s he was a full-fledged hippie.  After traveling the county with several bands starting in 1971, he eventually married the Vietnamese drummer of one of those bands, Cheryl Nhu.  After continuing to play around the country as a husband and wife act for a several years, the pair decided to started Rogue Records in 1983.  He ran it just with his wife for 2 years before hiring Jonas as his first full time employee in 1985.

After the store experienced some success, it was clear Ira no longer cared about making music, and along with a steady decrease in his equilibrium, Ira lost his ambition for anything other than hedonistic fame in the city.  This along with several other irrevocable differences, led to Ira and Cheryl’s separation in 1987.

Despite these things, he’s not done, nor his partnership with ‘madame’ Nhu.
